  1. Kia ora Jacob, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
    Well done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about Underwater Robotics.
    Aquabotics looks like a really cool activity to partake in, and all of the children in the video who participated looked like they were having so much fun!
    As I was watching the video, all I could think about was how the robots were able to move underwater. I know that if you drop any form of electric stuff like phones, toasters or laptops into water they spark and stop working.
    How do you think these robots are able to work underwater?
    You mentioned in your blog post how you wouldn’t like to join a Pasifika Aquabot club because you wouldn’t get anything. What do you mean by this?
    I really like the ocean, and one of my favourite things to do is go sit at the beach and play my ukulele. I enjoy sitting on the sand and listening to the waves crash in the background and the birds singing around me.
    What is it about the ocean that you don’t like?
