ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and sharing with us your thoughts about who you would give a Nobel Prize to and why.
Sir Edmund Hillary is a great candidate for the Nobel Prize, and it was awesome of you to think of him for this activity.
Did you know that he was a navigator for the New Zealand Royal Air Force during World War II? It is crazy to look at all of Sir Edmund Hillary’s achievements and see how much he has accomplished in his life-time!
You mentioned how he became a ‘Sir’ by the Queen because he was the first to climb Mount Everest. How does somebody become a ‘Sir’?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
I really like how you have included a photo of Sir Edmund Hillary in this post, and think it is awesome how you remembered to incorporate the source of where you got the image from.
Would you ever want to climb Mount Everest? Why/why not?
If you could meet Sir Edmund Hillary, what is one question you would ask him?
Keep up the great work!
