Hi, 

Along time ago I did a 

Lego thing at school. 

And HERE IS MY REFLECTION.

My favourite Lego activity was the

tower because I was in a group with Johan,

but we teamed with Leo and his Friends.

We got 3rd and we were so happy that Caleb´s Group's

Tower fell down. We were not even close to the people 

My least favourite Lego activity was the

Pass around challenge because it never turned

out the way it was meant to and everyone

just broke it. I hated how I went to the nature pile.

The activity that tested my perseverance the most

was the tower because it was so hard and it was just testing

my brain. The tower started small and got big every minute. 

The most challenging activity was

Car because we just had to add and add,

add and add, Me and Leo were doing good until everyone

started to make their Cars longer.

I enjoyed working collaboratively with

others because it was good to work with friends

and find out their talents. It is so fun to do

Lego with your friends and play.

Fuzzie Friendship

Hi, 

My name is Jacob. 

This week we learnt about friendship.

I made a poster for it and it is about the 

top 10, How to be a good friend.

This was a very boring create task. 

It took be a very long amount of time to understand 

but on the plus side today is the last day of the 

Rock 2000 and I can't wait till the top 10

This Week, in my math class we were learning Volume and Capacity. I have to make like 3 post today so this will be really short. So volume is with 3D shape and you times it by it´s Width, Length, Height. For Capacity.

This Week I have created a persuasive speech on Junk food being ban at schools. I am against in this text. I have tried to put many types of sentences in my work.                                                                                      Here is the completed work!!!

Schools should ban Junk food!!!

Imagine a Healthy world

Nah, I don’t think so you don’t have to be Vegetarian to live. I believe that schools should not ban junk food because children’s Parents know what is best for their Kid and they don’t need to be told what to do. Many schools have junk food at a tuck shop or cafeteria and enjoy it. 

It is okay to have a reasonable amount of junk food and there can be balanced diet junk foods too. It is great to eat your vegetables but you also need iron and have something that tastes good but I am not saying Fruit and Veggies taste bad.It is also good to not just have junk food so if you always have Junk food mix it up a bit or just have it homemade. 

If you are worried you will become obese do exercise daily.

There is no way I am going to stop eating Junk food!

Get up and make your own junk food if you have too. 

But if you don’t want to have junk food 

IT IS YOUR CHOICE!!!

Choose wisely as it will affect you!!!

Umbrella

 Hi it is Jacob here, 

This is my Empathy create task for this week, 

One dark morning at the rise

of light the old oak door to Miss Elem´s

Home For Children

slammed open. The Young girl entered

the building

with only an Umbrella and toxicity through

her body only to find

a nice,  safe place for her Umbrella.

Not wanting to be sighted,

Boris trotted to the wall and looked

through the door frame.

Standing off to the corner was the

little girl watching and waiting while the children looked

through the box like  jaguar´s eating their food.

The girl smiled when she saw the boy

zooming around the room as he was

moving the speed of light. Her smile

eventually faded as she

glared straight back at the use to be

Umbrella, All she saw were

dark clouds up in the air. Her amazing,

beautiful Umbrella was gone.

This is about a boy who was a refugee and one a girl comes and with a yellow umbrella and it is so sad watch to find out more. Warning there is no talking.

Tumu Birthday Graphs!!!

Hi, 

Today is the 3rd day of term three and school has been pretty fun. We watched Olympics on the projector and NZ got a sliver medal, But that is not what I´m going to talk about. Today I will share Tumu´s Teams B-day Months. And here are two graphs!

Awesome MAHY

 Hi,

On the 20th of May, We all went on a Town trip to Margaret Mahy family park, Waka on the Avon, Victoria Square, Mats and feeding the Tuna. It was a great opportunity for tumu hub and a fun trip for all us children. I went with Mrs Carney first and we did crayon rubbing on the concrete . Then me, Korokia and Mostyn went with Mrs Bryce and looked at some mats. They were all so cool. We went back to Margaret Mahy and fed the tuna. After that we went with Miss Hanson and went on the waka and then to finish it off we went to Mrs Brown who was at Victoria Square.

My favourite part of the trip was we got to go on a waka. It was so fun and we sang Maori songs. It was so fun going on the boat and my buddy was Louka. He was a great buddy. I was on the right side of the boat and it was fine because I am ambidextrous, which is helpful. 

Something I learnt was that there were songs and stories in the Playground. We sing one of the songs with Mrs Carney and we sing pretty well. I liked that we got to go on the Playground for about 15 minutes after. 

 

The thing I found the most interesting was that there were commands for the waka. I think the Poi’s at Victoria square were very cool and the detail was great. And I think it was cool we got to go on such a great trip.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because It gave me so many good Ideas about Poi designs and songs to write. It gave me a great Idea for PBL and I think it gave everyone a great idea. 

Thank you teachers for letting us go on this trip!!!

I'm Jacob and today I will tell you how to use Place value and tidy numbers to solve addition problems. I demonstrated this in a google drawing. I found it easy and I prefer tidy numbers because it seems easier to me.

Blogging in style

Hi I´m Jacob, 

Today I am going to tell you the three things you need to include in a

blog comment and everything like that, My goal was to tell

you  how to do a great blog post and comment. I did a video

and it is kinda glitchy.

In this Screencastify I will tell you how to do a great blog comment,

but here´s a quick summery. In a good

blog comment you need to be positive thoughtful and helpful,

And make sure to ask a question so you get more info on the 

topic. In a good blog post you will need to have a Catchy title and a good

 intro / Introduction make sure you Include a summary of your work then add 

your work then add a question and you will be sweet to go.

My hero Goal: present work in a range of forms, write content relevant

to the task. & use language that is suitable to the topic, audience and purpose.
