ReplyDeleteYou have done an excellent job creating this blog post about Yusra Mardini and retelling her story!
It really sounds like she went through a lot just to escape the fighting, only to end up in a worse situation. I could never imagine what it would be like to be in such a situation, however she was exceedingly brave and ended up saving the lives of so many!
Have you ever been in a situation where you had to rescue someone or something? If so, when?
It is so great how after all the trouble in her life she was able to move past it and chase her dreams of becoming an Olympic swimmer!
Do you enjoy swimming?
Swimming used to be one of my favourite things when I was younger, however I don’t do it nearly enough now!
