  1. Kia ora Jacob, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Thank you for taking part in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this post about 3D printed prosthetics!
The video you were required to watch was full of such great content, and I learnt so much about the way prosthetics are made!
I was so surprised with what the children could do with their prosthetic hands. They could catch a ball, throw a ball, play paper, scissors, rock, and even go swimming!
These kids were unstoppable with their new hands, and that was an awesome thing to see!
I also wonder how it would feel to have a 3D printed prosthetic hand. I envision that they would be very extremely lightweight, and after a few weeks of wearing one I would imagine that you wouldn’t even know it was there!
Perhaps you could link the video in to your post so your viewers can have more of an understanding as to what the video is about.
If you had been missing a hand for your entire life and was offered the opportunity to have a prosthetic hand, would you take it?
Like you mentioned, 3D printers can do amazing things! If you could make anything out of a 3D printer, what would you make?
    Keep up the excellent work!
    Nga mihi
