ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about Paul Walker.
Paul Walker was such an amazing actor who, as you mentioned, had a passion for the ocean. He studied marine biology, and one of his final TV appearances was when he teamed up with National Geographic to film the series Shark Men.
They studied the patterns associated with great white sharks, and collected DNA samples to learn more about the animals.
Paul Walker must have to be pretty brave to get close enough for a DNA sample. Do you think you would be brave enough to collect a sample from a great white shark?
I think I would get too nervous to go near them. I’m not the biggest fan of sharks because of their big, sharp teeth and small, beady eyes.
There is now a charity called the Paul Walker Foundation which is striving to continue the work that Paul first initiated. The aim of this foundation is to protect the oceans and wildlife, as well as have spontaneous goodwill.
Have you ever heard of the Paul Walker Foundation before? If so, what is one fact that you know about them?
Quick Tip- Perhaps you could draw a picture of a great white shark and include it into your blog post. This would add a nice pop of colour, as well as reiterate what the post is about.
