Kia ora Jacob, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and sharing with us a time when you were kind.
It is so lovely to hear how kind you were to Luke that day. He was obviously upset when he realised he had to leave the toy behind, but you were exceedingly thoughtful and kind, and let him have it anyway.
Doing random acts of kindness always makes me feel really good inside. I enjoy helping people, and making others happy is something that I take pride in.
How did it feel once you gave Luke the toy? Were you happy that you had been kind, or were you sad that you had given away your toy?
You mentioned that it was an Incredible Hulk toy. What exactly did it look like?
I remember a time when my sister was very kind to me. I was at home sick and she brought me in a hot water bottle to keep me nice and warm. She also made me big pot of soup to help me feel better. I hadn’t asked her to do either of these things, she just did them out of pure kindness. I was so grateful for her small acts of kindness, and have never forgotten how good it made me feel to know that she was there for me and cared about me.
You have done an excellent job on this blog post! Keep up the great work!
